Key Ingredient: S-equol

Inactive Ingredients: Calcium, Dicalcium Phosphate, Fermented Soy Germ, Silicon Dioxide, Croscarmellose Sodium, Magnesium Stearate, Coating (Hypromellose, Glycerin, Hydroxypropyl Cellulose), Microcrystalline Cellulose. Contains Soy

S-equol, the key ingredient in Equelle, is a plant-based, non-hormonal compound. It is produced through our patented soy germ fermentation process.

This process starts by extracting a small amount of soy germ from the bean, which is then added to the fermentation conditions and produces S-equol. Only small traces of soy compounds remain in the final Equelle product.

1 in 5 American women are able to produce S-equol in their own bodies after eating soy. Researchers have found that these women experience more mild menopause symptoms as a result. However, they are unable to produce enough S-equol to fully alleviate menopause symptoms and can still benefit from Equelle.

About Equelle

Equelle is a hormone-free, non-prescription dietary supplement with naturally-derived S-equol. Equelle provides symptom relief due to estrogen decline by helping to reduce the frequency of hot flashes, supporting sleep quality, reducing vaginal irritation, alleviating mood swings and decreasing muscle aches.

Equelle's active ingredient, S-equol, works by safely and naturally mimicking estrogen. As estrogen declines, menopause symptoms go up. S-equol acts like estrogen in your body to help decrease menopause symptoms 1

Equelle has been clinically validated to alleviate symptoms, such as reducing the frequency of hot flashes, supporting sleep quality, alleviating mood swings, alleviating muscle aches and reducing bothersome vaginal symptoms such as irritation, soreness and itching. In clinical studies, participants taking Equelle experienced reduced hot flash frequency starting as early as one month, with about 5 fewer hot flashes per day at week 8 compared to baseline. After 3 months of taking Equelle participants slept 50 minutes more on an average per night vs. 16 minutes more with placebo.

You can take Equelle if you are in perimenopause, menopause, or postmenopause. If you're experiencing symptoms like hot flashes, sleep disturbances, vaginal discomfort, and more, Equelle may be right for you.

Equelle is the only supplement with S-equol, which naturally mimics estrogen to alleviate symptoms due to estrogen decline. Equelle is built on 20 years of research and development, uses a patented production process and has conducted 4 randomized, placebo-controlled clinical trials.

Taking Equelle does not impact estrogen levels. Although Equelle’s active ingredient, S-equol, mimics some of the same activities of estrogen by preferentially binding to estrogen receptor beta, Equelle is a dietary supplement free from human & animal hormones and clinical research shows S-equol supplementation reduces the frequency of hot flashes, supports the quality of sleep, reduces bothersome vaginal symptoms like irritation, soreness and itching, and alleviates mood swings1

Your body has two main types of estrogen receptors, called alpha receptors and beta receptors. Alpha receptors are primarily in your breast, ovarian, and uterine tissues. Beta receptors are primarily in places like the lining of your blood vessels and some parts of your brain. Estrogen, and estrogen hormone replacement therapies, bind to both alpha and beta receptors. S-equol has a similar molecular structure to estrogen but mostly binds to beta receptors.

By favoring these beta receptors, S-equol:

  • Mimics the benefits of estrogen and relieves symptoms
  • Does not increase your risk for breast cancer and is not associated with changes in sex or thyroid hormones or endometrial health

Equelle's active ingredient, S-equol, comes from Japan. It is tableted and manufactured in the United States.

Your doctor may be able to provide you with samples of Equelle. However, samples are not available in all areas. If you are unable to receive samples, we do offer a 90-day money-back guarantee so it's risk-free to try!

How to take

Take 1 tablet of Equelle in the morning, and 1 tablet at night. This will maintain sufficient levels of S-equol in your body to help you with your symptoms throughout the day— morning and night.

Equelle should be taken as long as your symptoms persist. Menopause symptoms are caused by declining estrogen and you can experience these symptoms for several years, until the body adjusts to those declining levels. Equelle can help relieve these symptoms during this time. If you feel like your symptoms have subsided, you can try to stop taking Equelle and see if your symptoms return. Equelle has been extensively studied and there are no safety issues with taking Equelle for a long period of time.

Yes, Equelle can be broken or crushed and taken in liquid or food.

You do not have to take Equelle with food. However, if you tend to have a sensitive stomach, we recommend taking Equelle with food to help minimize any potential discomfort.

Safety & effectiveness

In clinical trials, Equelle provided menopause symptom relief as early as 1 month, with optimal results in 2-3 months. Participants receiving Equelle experienced about 5 fewer hot flashes per day at 2 months compared to baseline. After 3 months of taking Equelle participants slept 50 minutes more on an average per night vs. 16 minutes more with placebo. After 3 months, 92% of participants in an online survey reported they were satisfied with Equelle.

Equelle and its active ingredient, S-equol, have undergone decades of clinical research and development and is Generally Recognized as Safe (GRAS) by the FDA. It has been shown to be safe and is not associated with changes in sex or thyroid hormones, negative effects on endometrial health or breast cancer. Some individuals have reported gastrointestinal side effects and they can subside after a few days to a week of taking the product. It can also help to take Equelle with food. If you are experiencing any adverse effects, we recommend discontinuing product use and consulting your physician or healthcare professional.

Yes, three double-blind, randomized clinical trials were conducted. The results support relief from the common symptoms associated with menopause including reducing frequency of hot flashes and vaginal irritation, alleviating mood swings, and supporting quality of sleep. Read our studies here. In addition, Equelle and its active ingredient S-equol have gone through decades of research, development, and multiple clinical studies to determine the safety of the ingredient.

Equelle does not have any known interactions with other medications. Equelle should not be taken if you have a soy allergy or sensitivity. We always recommend speaking to your healthcare professional if you have any questions about your specific situation.

Yes, if you are experiencing symptoms due to entering menopause naturally or through induced menopause, consider Equelle to alleviate some of your symptoms like frequency of hot flashes, mood swings, vaginal irritation, and to support sleep quality.

We always recommend consulting with your healthcare professional to ensure you are making the best decision for your body and needs as this is a deeply personal issue. However, Equelle has been clinically studied and shown to be safe.

S-equol is derived from soy using a patented process. A report for the American Institute for Cancer Research notes that a moderate amount of soy (1 to 2 servings a day) is considered safe for survivors and may even be beneficial. Only trace amounts of soy compounds remain in the final Equelle product.

Only trace amounts of soy compounds remain in the final Equelle product. These amounts are significantly less than those present in a single serving of most common soy foods.

Equelle is a dietary supplement regulated by the FDA and we adhere to FDA regulations that require us to follow Current Good Manufacturing Practices (CGMP). The active ingredient in Equelle, S-equol, is Generally Recognized as Safe (GRAS) for use in dietary supplements.

No. During our fermentation process, only small trace amounts of soy compounds remain in the final Equelle product. These amounts are significantly less than those present in a single serving of most common soy foods. However, since there are still small trace amounts of soy compounds, Equelle should not be taken if you have a soy allergy or sensitivity.
